Age 6-7, 8-9, 10+

Class Length: 85 minutes

Pre-Requisites: No Experience Needed

There are two levels in Girls Level 1 & 2. Once all levels are achieved then the next program is Girls Level 3 & 4.

  • Girls Recreation classes are 85 minutes for age 6+. In this program gymnasts will learn skills with gradual difficulty through our Girls Rec Level System.  In all levels, we focus on practicing quality gymnastics skills, fitness activities and having fun while we are at it!  Levels 1-5 have skill lists for each event (vault, bars, beam, floor, tumble track & conditioning) that gymnasts are required to learn before moving up to the next level.  It is normal for some levels to take multiple sessions to complete. We recommend asking your daughter's coach about their progress prior to registration to ensure they sign up for the correct class.  Beyond level 6+, our advanced rec gymnasts work with their coaches to develop a personalized goal sheet for the session.

  • Springers recommends that participants wear something comfortable like leggings and a t-shirt, or bodysuit. Springers recreation bodysuits are available for purchase in the office. Please note: The Coats & Boots Room is NOT supervised during class times. Please do not bring valuables to the gym. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • We recommend asking your daughter's coach about their progress prior to registration to ensure they sign up for the correct class.

Note: children who have previously participated in our Kindergym program may be familiar with some of the skill requirements for Girls Rec Level 1. Our coaches will assess each child at the start of the session and adjust for level equivalency accordingly.
