Program Description: This 45 minute structured class uses music, games, and play to create a fun filled program with a parent/guardian there to assist. Participants will explore colorful challenging circuits and have the opportunity to learn on kid-sized gymnastics equipment including beams, floor and Tumble Track. Participants will explore fundamental movements such as jumping, hanging, swinging, climbing, balancing and supporting. Basic gymnastic body positions and simple stretching will be introduced with an emphasis on development of motor skills, and coordination. This class is also an opportunity for children to develop social skills such as listening, following instructions, sharing, taking turns, and developing friendships.

What to wear: Springers recommends that participants wear something comfortable like leggings and a t-shirt, and boys a t-shirt and elastics waist shorts or athletic pants. Springers recreation bodysuits are available for purchase in the office. Parents can wear something comfortable to move in, and can wear socks in the class. Please note: The Coats & Boots Room is NOT supervised during class times. Please do not bring valuables to the gym. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
